Hi, thanks for stopping by. I was born in Liverpool and emigrated with parents to Australia in 1976. After school, I joined the public service before entering the Regular Army as a Signaler. This gave me a passion for military history and you will see the extent of this when you read my novels with Jake Walker as the hero.
Mum encouraged my reading, first through books from Enid Blyton and then the Hardy Boys (Edward Stretemeyer) before moving to more important books like Biggles (Captain WE Johns) and James Bond (Ian Fleming). My writing career, however, took a lot longer to develop and, those that haven't done it, might not appreciate just how hard it is to research and pen a novel that will entertain people. 100's of hours of work... Entertaining through writing, giving you the escape you seek through reading, is what I seek to do and consider myself an artist, a man with a sincere hope that you, my readers, will receive value for money for reading my novels. Drop me a line anytime, through the contact form above. I'd be privileged to hear from anyone who stops by and says g'day. |
